In-tank pump to supply carb? 200 1980

George! Fancy seeing you over here on the 200 side of the world.

My guess is that it won't likely work, but I could be wrong. I don't know that the prepump is up to the task of pushing gas and keeping pressure up for that distance. I'd think it just sorta sucks enough gas when the tank is low to gravity feed the main pump. I could be wrong though. You could always get a universal inline pump for cheap if it didn't work though.

My question though... geez. I'd really be trying to sort out the problem with the injection, as it's so nice when it works right in every respect... cold starts, mileage, emissions... I might be getting another 240 myself soon, and if I do, it will come with a wasted spare engine with complete K-jet injection attached. If I get that, you can have what you want, as the car seems to be OK.
