Checking my AMM with a DVOM... HELP! 200

Hey all,

after doing just about everything to correct my initial stumble on startup, i picked up a digital multimeter to help me with diagnosing my 240 when it ails!

That said, does anyone have some extra info on measuring voltage etc. from the AMM? I read the FAQ and it's not terribly explanatory... In other words, do I need to test the connecter from the wiring harness, the actual meter itself? On which pins should I test?

Any feedback would be much appreciated!

Thanks all, enjoy the bricks!
