ATE rear caliper without stepped piston? 200 1988

I just purchased a reman caliper for the left rear of my 1988 244DL.

On closer inspection, the pistons do not have the typical stepped profile of ATE pistons (ie, the ones that need the 20-degree position). The face of the piston is one continuous surface.

Is this anything to be concerned about?
