67 122 automatic to an M41 problem. 120-130

My Amazon was born as an auto and had a tranny change done by a PO too. My solution to the limited foot space thus far has been wear narrow shoes! Welding in a new tunnel would be the nicest, but seems like a fiarly big job- the alternative I'm probably going to persue is to take the clutch and brake pedals and cut them at some point and have them rewelded an inch or so to the left. Will probably require a bit of extra metal bar. It may disturb the ergonomics of the seat-pedal positions, but not so much that I won't get used to it after a few miles.
