The DANA 30 gasket fit the Volvo housing perfectly, FYI. If there is a drain plug on the front side, I'll be amused, I'll look tonight. At least I got a chance to inspect everything and paint the cover (flat black). However, if there is a drain on the front, and I had known about it, I could have gotten more sleep that night. The end result is that one of my many noises went away, so I guess something was helped.
