Funny mistake 200

After reading every post about transmission fluid flush/change I decided that a flush would cure my problem of gear crunching going into first. I read them all so close that I did't realize that standard transmissions generally do not get flushed. I was wondering why I couldn't find the transmission line hose into the radiator!

I guess you need to actually look at the car before you plan to do some work on it.

The result is two things:
1) I changed the transmission fluid at the pan. There is little difference in the gear crunching. But, I figure it might take a little driving to feel a difference and I might need to do another change after 100 miles.

2) I have 2 gallons of very expensive Redline MTL sitting in my house. If anyone needs it, let me know, otherwise it will be on ebay pretty quickly.

Some posters on this board may have saved me hours of looking for the transmission line on the radiator of my 5 speed standard.

Thank you brickboard!
