running light problem S90-V90

I replaced the driver's side tail light and unfortunately broke the red wire at the very bottom of the light. It is for the running light. I spliced the wire back together, but still do not get a running light. I put the old light back in just to check, but still no running light!

The brake light and turn signals work fine, and the passenger side running light works perfectly.

Any ideas on how to diagnose the problem with the driver's side light? Is there an in-line fuse I might have shorted out?

Many thanks for any help!

Happy motoring!
