A/C blower help? 700

Thanks John,

It is a 1991 740, I've been told it has a manual control unit. (no temperatures shown, just off to hotter, knob on the right). It has two buttons on it, one for re-circulate, and the other for A/C off.

I had the glove box out & the kick panel down, but couldn't locate anything that looked like a resistor pack. Then again, I don't know what I'm looking for.

Used my meter to check the low pressure switch on the accumilator can, and registered no voltage. Jumped 12 volts directly from the battery to the compressor, the clutch engaged, and got good cold air.

Ideas?
thanks,

--Michael
