Oh yeah.... 700 1987

Do you have the distributor on the side of the engine, or on the back end of the cam shaft? If side mounted, then the timing mark on the intermediate shaft is critical.

I don't mean to be insulting if you are more experienced with that engine than I make it sound. I just don't know what your familiarity level with that stuff is.
