On my 90 740 Regina (Sedan) the fuel pump is powered through a pink wire which is a larger guage than the others running with it into the pump/sending unit. If you follow the wires backwrd from where they enter the tank, you shouldn't have to go TOO far before you find a plug that you can disconnect and tap into the pump power wire. You should be able to measure 12V for a second or two when you first turn on the ignition.
