Diets aside, one possibility is having more weight on the "low" side. 240s SEEM like they would have a bit more weight on that side, as the spare tire (on the sedan at least) and battery are both there, as well as the driver, when in the car. I've sometimes wondered if that would lead to a bit of sag in the left-side springs -- and I've also wondered why it doesn't generally seem to do so.
