Charging problems 200 1983

Hi,

C'mon tell all. The whole story. What led you to replace it. How do you know "it's charging". What brand alternator. Where'd you buy it. What did you do with the blue wire, the red wire, the big red wire. Any sparks before you remembered the battery was still connected?

Could be simple as slipping belt, loose ground, or as bad as a damaged regulator. But if those lights are coming on, your charging system is not well.

Have a meter?
