I think I recall stretching the spring somewhat to tighten things up. Sorry I don't know of a source for the bushing. I would try Voluparts in Atlanta as a first shot. If you haven't looked at it yet, it's a cup-shaped nylon (or teflon?) thing that isn't very thick. The ball on the shifter rocks around inside of it.
