I got an 89 760 turbo (aka) 740t
Ive been having the same problem with the rough idle.
It sounds like you have a vac leak some place. or a
bad intake gasket or throttle body gasket leak.
get some starting fluid and spray it on the gaskets
on the manifold and the intake if you get higher idle
then the gasket is dead.
