Changing out differential Fluid S90-V90

I have taken Dewfpo's lead on the machine that will pull the fluid out of my differential. I'm going to tackle it this weekend. Question, 225k on the car, and it has all been with the original diff fluid in the case. If I were to chang over to synthetic fluid will I have a problem ,or should I stay with the fluid that brung me?
