Heck, my 1998 has sticky Pbrakes. Usually after parking for a couple of days in humid weather. If they free up, don't worry about it too much. Procably a little brake grease on the return springs and you will be all right. Pouring 3in1 oil down the brake cable sheath would be a good idea.
Don't over maintain it until you learn the cars little quirks and personallity.
