If it's really a '68 wouldn't the b20 be more correct? He did say restoration, after all. I know lots of '67's got registered in the US as 68's but I was under the impression that the b18 ended in '67 in the 122.
I would think that if they were in a known good condition he wouldn't be asking us. The b20 is easier to find parts for (in my experience). Also, by this time the odds of having an unmolested engine of either type is greatly diminished (making the discrimination between a-b-d-e-f pretty tough without a tear down).
