THe website you mention is correct.. you'll notice they list UPPER ball joints for '66-70. It is the lowers that are the same for all years.

You got the later type, and you need the later type upper A-arms to use them. It is a worthy upgrade, as the later upper ball joints are stronger. When you get the right upper arms, it is a direct bolt up.
