I've had good luck with rear-view mirror adhesive.
Very important to have latch and glass unbelievably clean.
Also important to not use an excessive about of glue.
I've also used the IPD latch, but prefer the glued on style.
I think the adhesive route is the only game in town for the flip
out cargo area windows on '68-'70 145s.
