Guage illumination colour 300

hey guys. ive got an 84 244dl and i noticed that the speedo cluster light is green and in my 90 240dl its just a boring white color. is there neway to change that color to like green? i was thinkin of getting the speedo cluster case from the junkers off of a 85 240 and putting it in my 90 240? will that work or could i just change the light bulbs? thanks
