kickdown cable problem 700

pull the pan off. there's a drum where the cable wraps around. use a pick or something to rotate the drum and slip out the old end. now use a punch or something and poke the broken housing out of the case. now that you practiced on 1 trans, the other is easier. when installing the new cable, pull all the slack out and rotate the drum as much as possible. this will let you slip the end in the drum. good luck, chuck.
