my 90 240DL needs rear differential...

someone else will know the shop rate.

the 86 should have the electronic speedo, but if the gearing is different the speedo will be off (not a big deal if you don't care).

the diff has a sticker that indicates the gearing.

why do you think you need a diff? I don't think I have heard of one failing here. Do you just need a seal, or oil?
