Rob,
I don't think there's much difference at all. At the low speed end KD is a little richer than DX, but from station 6 they are the same. Go to www.teglerizer.com/suneedledb and punch in the two codes, and you'll see what I mean. Then punch in ZH and you'll see that it's an entirely different profile.
