So we got ahold of the seller today. He actually looked up our info and called us before we had a chance to call him. He basically preempted my concerns over the past auctions claiming it was a partner that is no longer involved. He sounded sincere enough I suppose. He waived the $40 fee as well. While I've never personally been burned on ebay I've known plenty have. So, I'm not letting my guard down.

In addition to this we recieved an email from the previous buyer telling us "good luck".

If nothing else I'll get to visit family in Maryland.
