Reusing Head Bolts? 700 1986

Most sources I've seen indicate that the red-block head bolts can be reused several times unless they show signs of stretching - the coke-bottle effect below the bolt head. I believe the Volvo green book gives specs for the bolt diameter tolerances but I don't have it here. I have reused them every time, 4 times on one engine I had, and never broke one. The 960s on the other hand will usually snap a couple during torquing, just my observations and $0.02 worth.
