Performance B18 120-130

I can't see any way to do a turbo RIGHT with 1500 dollars, and it wouldn't be as much fun anyway. It cost me 1500 dollars for an AK Miller Turbo kit for a Mercury Capri in 1979 and I had 2000 more (1979) dollars in it before it was done, and it was just 'OK'. Also, it did not last all that well... I wouldn't do it again for certain!!

One of John Parker's supercharger kits is another story though. A horse of a completely different color, if you will!! It's easy enough to rationalize away an extra 2000 dollars. What the heck... it's only money!!!

Dr Phil's prescription will give you a really fun combination in your old Swede. (OBTW, that is the direction I am going). Tighten up the suspension a little (good tire, shocks, plus, possibly, a bigger front sway bar and enjoy some of those mountain roads in your neighborhood.

Cheers

Mike
