Hello:
The hardest part is often getting the rear rotors off! Next problem will be the pivots in the e-brake mechanism-- I haven't had a rust belt Volvo yet that didn't have seized pivots. When you get them apart, you should be able to get these actuators to pivot in two places-- usually one is seized, if not both. PBlaster them and then rub in antizeize compound all over them. Two of the last 3 have needed hardware: shoe retainer clips and sometimes spring or two. Back off the nylon nut under the center console in the car before you start. My 940 also needed the short rear cable replaced, along with some hardware.
