A lot of good replies. Thanks so much.

I have only had one 240 and it was an auto. I hope to get this 5 speed.

I do not know 240's that well - but a lot of what I have learned in 7XX/9XX will apply. The hints about rust and possible electronic issues will hopefully help me make the right decision. Main thing to me is the drive train be good, and the body be straight (and in generally good shape appearence wise). The other stuff I can work though - bit by bit - if needed. Heck I am doing ti on a 760 right now (and the motor is not that great).

I really look forward to having a 245 manual. Hope it works out.
