I forget what year yours is but some have the reverse light switch on the
shifter as one of 3 terminals that stick off the left side almost against the
tunnel. Not sure about the relay but probably up there on the left front
near the dipswitch relay, etc.
I have the diagram for the 72 from the green Volvo manual. Let me know if
you want me to look it up.
