Are you discussing a S/V90? The sway-bar end links are like mineature tie-rod ends with a ball and plastic socket spherical joint. There is a rubber cover to keep moisture out of the joint but it has no torquing relivancy. The life of these thnigs, in my experience is highly variable. (10K to 80K miles?)
