Product or technique to refinish plastic taillights

If they're foggy looking like those taillights usually are at this point, try shooting them with clear coat. I've seen some good results from clear coating sun damaged (white/hazy) taillights, but I've never tried it. Testors #1605 transparent candy apple red spray paint will match the red lens without blocking much light at all, if you want to try that instead. I use it on my 244 backup lenses and rear turn signals to make them red.
