Yo may want to make sure the engine is tuned OK and not rocking around in the first place because of that...but I agree with nameless poster...since mounts are mostly in compression, its difficult/impossible to see if they have failed without lifting motor and checking (sometimes you can do this by just pushing sideways real hard on the valvecover, and watching for seperation, but floorjack technique will work for sure)...and while your lifting and checking, have some of the higher durometer (stiffer) 6 cyl mounts (#1206612) handy for installation...
...also, the rear transmount is under a lot of shear forces....not really what its indented for...so they fail, especially if exposed to oil, and faster when the fronts are bad allowing the engine to rock and roll...
