As noted in another response, the turbo has no flame trap, but does have an oil breather box mounted on the driver's side of the engien, down low. It sits under the throttle body.

I've found that cleaning/replacing the associated hoses that lead to the box had an affect on how much oil gets blown around inside my engine compartment. Be careful when removing the S-shaped hose from the plastic Y-shaped Tee that sits near the top of the intake mainfold, as it may be brittle. A new tee is only a couple of bucks at the dealer (as is a new S-hose).

I use this opportunity to clean the throttle body, which my car seems to ike quite a bit.

Also, as is noted in the FAQs, there is a vacum hose that leads to an inlet on top of the intake manifold. The small port that the hose connects to can become clogged. Remove the port from the manifold, and then ream out the hole carefully by hand with a drill bit (no drill, just a sharp 1/8" bit).

Because I've found that my hoses seem to get fairly gunked up each year, last summer, I chose to replace the oil breather box. The old one weighed twice as much as the new one from collected gunk, and the car seemed happier for the effort.
