Here are a suggestions:
- slightly higher tire pressure
- lighten the load (not a wagon, so don't haul junk around)
- convert to full synthetic oil and transmission fluids
- full tune-up (throttle body/gasket, flame trap, oil separator)
- eletric radiator fan conversion
- upgraded air filter (K&N)
This question has been raised many times before. Search the BrickBoard for more detailed posts on each point mentioned above. I did the electric fan conversion a few years ago. I don't have emperical evidence on gas mileage or performance, but my brick is much quieter now, and there is a TON on more space in the engine bay.
What type of swaybars and suspension components are on your car? The 245ti is hard to find in my area. Keep it clean!
