'83 245 headlight problem

Then chances are someone had e-codes in your car at some point. H4 bulbs and sealed beams use the same connectors, but the wires are in different positions. I forget which is which. Take a small screwdriver or something, and pop the terminals out of the big plastic connector and orient them properly.

You'll want a multimeter to figure out which wires get power (one for high beams, one for low beams) and which one is the ground wire.
