Ok brickboard I need some help! My 1992 245 was running great no sign of problems the last time I drove it Sunday two weeks ago. My wife got in it the following Monday morning, drove it less than a quarter of a mile from home...it cut off in the middle of the street with no warning. The car refused to start. I had it towed to a mechanic not very far away. Let me tell you right off the bat he is not a Volvo mechanic. Last week he said the fire from the coil was weak so he went out to get a coil to get it started....no luck. I told him I would not pay for the coil. This week he thinks it is the ignition module on the left side behind the head lights. I don't want to repalce everything on the car. June
