redblock conn rod?

You may be thinking of the first B230 engine, in the 1985 240s. Also a change to a cast crankshaft.

In a way earlier post, IIRC, the B23 was described as a very strong engine. the later (post-1988 240) B230F got beefed up some, maybe in the con-rods.
