Do you think this is likely to be a a cat problem? 200

I would say it would be unusual to see exhaust without hearing a leak. If the car is warmed up, then you would not see it. It may be oil or ATF burning off on the cat or pipes. I had the rear cam plug on my 94 spring a leak a couple of weeks ago. It dumped oil down the back of the motor, and then blew onto the exhaust pipe making some smoke. Speaking of which, a Stanley 6 inch flat mending strap form Home Depot makes a great ready made cam plug retainer. The pre-drilled holes line up perfectly with the drilled and tapped holes in the head.
