1990 240 DL wagon speedometer problems 200

well i'll have to check , all the other gauges seem to work fine.
If i remegber coeerctly there is only 3 wire plugs a cirle plug and a half cirle plug that goes in at the back .
the 2 wire plugs can fit at 1 spot only the 3rd wire only fits in teh lower corner and the circle of wires and the half cirle of wires is only at 1 spot as well. the only thing I tried was switching the two wires that did nothing for me.
