I had a similar problem a few months back. Does the lights behind the heater controls work?

My instrument cluster lights were out but the lights behind the heater controllers (as lame as they are) still worked.

I ended up buying a used cluster off of eBay. Plugged everything up and lights are back working again. I ended up transfering all of my gauges from my old cluster into the one I bought as they were in better condition then the ones that were in the cluster I bought.

Pretty easy swap.
