But is that a good thing or a bad thing? 444-544

Not too many years ago having wheels painted a different color than teh body was quite common. Look at any old 1920's-1930's Ford with wire wheels. Green car...orange wheels!

I had a 1946 Chevy Sport Sedan that was a light green. It had black wheels when I bought it, and I immediately painted the wheels a really brilliant green.

My PV came to me with silver wheels. I could have painted them black and used the hubcaps ad tri rings to dress them up. Instead, I painted them to match the body color. I think they look a little dark in photographs, but they look great in person.

Look at it this way: rattle cans of paint are cheap, so you can test several colors to see what you like before blasting the old paint off, priming them, and laying on the final color.

The red DOES look nice. Try it!
