I need some help with a part (Easy) 444-544 1964

Every little bit helps!

The 'replacement' cover I made up looks fine for Saturday's show. The more I look at the engine compartment, the more I think it would look a lot better to re-route as much of the wiring as possible inside the cabin. There seems to be an awful lot of wires under the hood for such a simple little car!

The larger fuse box would be a big help, until I get around to running all those wires out of sight. I've added several more circuits to power things since I got the car, but they are hooked directly to the battery + terminal and have inline fuses in them. Not the way I'd prefer!

I think that the car would benefit from a fuse strip mounted on the inner left fender liner. Originally there was a gang plug here that connected the headlights to the rest of the wiring harness. That plug was both melted and broken, so I installed a wiring terminal block there. That's a big improvement over the original plug in that all the circuits are exposed so it's easy test them. A fuse box would be even better, I think.

Meanwhile, onward and upward!

Steve
