I think this is new one.
I have been experiencing a quiet squeal from the rear, happens only on accelerating, pitch is in unison with drive shaft turning. Also get a clunk sometimes when going into D. All universals and center bearing good.
Got under there today and had a look. It seems on this version of the multi-link suspension there's an upper and lower rubber "mount" which traps the diff in a subframe. These rubber "mounts are rectangular and about 3" long, located just above and below the very front of the diff and right behind where universal joint rear part enters the diff. Their purpose appears to be to stop the diff from rolling back and forward from the torque. The upper mount has broken away and is rubbing on the smooth round part of the universal shaft. This explains the squeal and the clunk.
Anyone with any knowledge of how to change these rubber "mounts". They appear to just sit in place and the sub frame is assembled around them.
It seems to be a very complex suspension back there, more complex than the front.
