Hello Chef,

Yes, with antique Volvo's it's one thing after another.

Yes, the manual & automatic cables do differ.

Go to Ebay and type, "Volvo speedometer cable"; there were nine for sale just ten minutes ago.

When installing, make the curve coming out of the tranny as gentle &
gradual as possible--no sharp bends. Have fun.
