This is one time when I would recommend WD40 with its solvents to free up the jet...apply liberally twice a day and wiggle the jet...carefully!...brittle Bakelite parts! I'd also unscrew the screw which connects it to the choke mechanism...this will allow you to also gently turn the jet to help with the ingress of solvent...
