I think you are correct here. I got the CAM rack out of the car and made several measurements on the two racks and I believe that they have the same form/fit. I'm not sure if there is any difference in steering ratio or anything like that.

I did talk to a person at the alledged rebuilder. He was not very knowledgable at all. He claimed that he would have to talk to someone on Monday to figure out what and why.

I just wish there was better clarity in communication on these things. By the time I put a steering unit back in the car, I'll be a expert of sorts.
