I would suspect the bulb out sensor relay as well. They are pricey from the dealer. Usually resoldering will remedy the problem. Open it up and under a strong light use a magnifying glass to look for an unusual looking joint. Perhaps it will be off color from the rest or many times show a faint circle around the joint about half way to the edge.

I agree with mcduck that you seem to have to problems. One is no brake lights and the other is the brake warning light.
