Performance challenge 200 1991

I'd have a real close look at the rear suspension bushings.

I've got stiff shocks in my 244 (Bilstein Touring)... with bad bushings, it still felt unstable just going down the road. Handling in hard corners was still great. It's that unloaded condition transitioning from left to right that makes the car feel disconnected when trailing arm bushings are shot.

Get under the back end and have a look. There might not be any rubber left... or any inner sleeve!
