My wagon gets smacked, blinkers fire constantly?

If you plan on driving the car like this any length of time, get one of those simple "turn the knob" battery disconnects. It may save the other components of your electrical system. I have been using one for a year in my 544 and it works fine. It only takes a few seconds to shut the battery off or turn it on.
