Hey Ozzi - sorry I missed your note!

I haven't ever tried to determine its _top_ speed in 4th but have run it up to 115 indicated a few times. In OD, it will bury the speedo.

Mileage is what I think we'd consider "poor." If I'm easy on it, I can manage 20 in town, but highway mpg is lower. John at VPD is now using a modified Mikuni carb and is getting in the high 20s last I knew, but I still have the Weber DCOE.

So far, the tranny is holding. I don't imagine it will last forever, though. The car and I have been in Portland - the SC itself was in NY for repairs and was delivered back to me on Friday... now it's back in the car and I have just a few last details to sort out before I take it out again. I intend to have it at the ipd garage sale next Saturday.

Remind me -- what engine are you using?
